Jump Institute is run by members of Team Fastrax™, the most ambitious professional parachute demonstration team in the world. The team roster has more than forty geographically dispersed active members, with a culmination of more than 175,000 skydives.
Its mission involves highly precise aerial demonstrations that require the ultimate level of trust and confidence in others. Team Fastrax members place their lives in the hands of their teammates on a daily basis, linking parachutes mid-air, landing multiple larger than life flags into a stadium within seconds of each other, and performing choreographed night skydiving demonstrations with fireworks.
In addition to their skydiving skills, team members' backgrounds include special operations military veterans, foreign diplomats, combat-wounded veterans, engineers, adult educators, nurses, combat medics, and commercial pilots amongst others.
Coming from a wide variety of backgrounds to accomplish a shared mission requires precise, deliberate communications and mastering each others' strengths and limitations.
